We have been luck enough to work with European Ceramics in Osborne Park for a few years now. Having previously provided a decorative concrete surface for their main showroom in Osborne Park. We were more than delighted to be asked to reproduce the same finish for a new addition to the European Ceramics facility.
The Brief
European Ceramics is one of Perths largest importers of ceramic tiles. Much of their success is based on being passionate, vibrant and hands-on. The expansion to the Osborne Park showroom sees European Ceramics widen the spectrum, accommodating for kitchen, walk in robes, bench tops, furniture and installation. Providing a collection of designers with fascinating concepts on home design.
HAWK CFC provided over 1500m2 of designer concrete to the new showroom space. Helping to ensure this entire space was cutting edge and luxurious, from floor to ceiling. Our team we’re all hands on deck, utilising large 3 phase machines and exceptional talent to create a truly unique floor that will no doubt enhance the feel of this space.
The Coating
The coating method and material for this particular job was selected for a few reasons. It was decided that the use of our SILIKAL MMA reactive resin in a matt finish would not only allow for an aesthetically pleasing finish. It would cure quickly and allow for the fit out team to resume with finishing the project immediately. Not only does this product cure within an hour of application, it’s hard wearing properties would ensure a long lasting protective coating, capable on enduring the heavy traffic flow this showroom will undoubtedly be subject to.
